Nwando Ebizie is a visionary artist who works across different artforms and media to explore the possibility of new futures. She challenges audiences to question their perceived realities through art personas, experimental theatre, neuroscience, music and African diasporic ritualistic dance. For their YARMONICS residency, Nwando worked with Tom Richards to create an immersive audiovisual installation in collaboration with The Louise Hamilton Trust.

The Louise Hamilton Trust was established to create and support The Louise Hamilton Centre for palliative care - providing end of life care to patients in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area of Norfolk. Nwando and Tom spent time with volunteer members of the trust to talk about their work and their life in music. These conversations led Nwando to the fantastic Enchanted Forest, a large-scale knitted forest scape knitted by Louise Hamilton Trust members over many years. These ongoing conversations informed a narrative and new sound work to accompany the Enchanted Forest. Tom Richards designed a lighting stage and contributed to composition and sound design, which you can hear in full below.
